Wojtek Czyz

Wojtek Czyz was born in 1980 in the Polish city of Wodzisław Śląski. Since the age of eight years, leaves Czyz Kaiserslautern. On his way to become a professional soccer player in the German team Fortuna Cologne, Czyz has reported a severe sport injury, which has lead to the amputation of his left leg. Afterwards, he dedicated himself to disabled sport- with huge success. The over-knee leg amputee athlete is several times Paralympic Champion. At the Paralympic Games of Athenes 2004, he won a gold medal both in 100 meters and in 200 meters, aswell as in Long Jump. In 2008 in Beijing he won another gold in Long Jump. At the Paralympic Games of London 2012, Czyz won a silver medal in Long Jump and two bronzes in 100 meters and 4x100m relay. Besides this, the athlete is multiple World, European and German Champion. In parallel with his sport career, Czyz has studied at the German Sport University of Cologne (Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln). He has finished his studies in March 2012 gaining a Diploma in Sport Science, Economy and Management.

 

Elena Brambilla

Elena Brambilla was born in Vimercate (Italy) in 1983. Diplomed in 2002 at the Classic High School, Elena has got a master degree in Farmacs-Genomic Biothecnologies at the Universita’ degli Studi di Milano Bicocca. She is now getting a second university degree in Herbal Technique at the University of Milano. Professional athlete since 2003, Elena starts for the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Azzurre, belonging to the Italian police. National U23 Champion in 2003, National Indoor Champion in 2014, she has been two times finalist in the U23 European Championchips and competes currently in several international meetings. She lives in Germany since 2010.
